Edward Randolph Hensley of Shreveport died at Grace Home Sunday morning. He was 74.
 Randy Hensley An active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Mr. Hensley served as a Vestry member, Junior and Senior Warden, Lay Reader, and Eucharistic Minister. He had been a member of the Cotillion Club, the Royal Order of Cotillion Jesters, the Demoiselle Club, the Petroleum Club, and Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club. He was a volunteer fundraiser for the United Way, Centenary College, and the Boy Scouts, delivered Meals on Wheels, volunteered at the Glen, and served as president of the Bridge House of Shreveport. Mr. Hensley is survived by his wife, Dorothy Park Hensley, a son, the Rev’d Lane Goodwin Hensley and his wife Rebecca Karnes Hensley of Palos Park, Ill.; a daughter, Julia Hensley Bayouth and her husband Frank Ed Bayouth of Houston; and four grandchildren, Ellen Julia Hensley, Robert Edward Hensley, Ed Frank Bayouth, and Patrick Randolph Bayouth. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 275 Southfield Rd. The Rt. Rev’d Bruce D. MacPherson and the Rev’d Guido F. Verbeck III will officiate, and the Rev’d Paul D. Martin will offer the homily. A private burial will follow the service. The family will receive friends at Osborn Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday evening. Honoring Mr. Hensley as pall bearers are Mr. William G. Anderson, Dr. Oscar L. Berry Jr., Mr. Edwin L. Blewer Jr., Mr. Jerry D. Boughton, Mr. Andre L. Boutte, Dr. James D. Boyd, Mr. William Dalton, Mr. O. A. Griffey, the Hon. Charles R. Lindsay, the Hon. Charles B. Peatross, and Mr. Richard H. Sale. The family recommends that memorials for Mr. Hensley be directed to Christus Schumpert Grace Home and Community Hospice, The Glen Retirement System, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
