Information:
(From January 2008) Transfiguration has been my church home since 1989. Bryan and I were married in this church. He was Catholic and I came from a Christian Reformed tradition and we found a comfortable meeting place in this congregation. I have found Transfiguration to be a wonderful place to raise my children, Jayne and Bryan. Throughout the years, this church family has provided support and Christian fellowship in both difficult and good times. My involvement in the church has taken many forms, including Sunday School, Bible School, Day Care Board, Vestry, Delegate to Convention, Mission Trip to La Transfiguración in Mexico, Stewardship Committee, coffee hour, and various other projects and committees. I see the people to be the strength of this church. As a church family we can have our disagreements, but we all know that our overriding commitment to Christ binds us together. I hope to see Transfiguration remain a healthy Christian community, supporting one another so that we may do God’s work in this world. I would like to see us share our many gifts and talents with the communities around us, sharing God’s love and our commitment to make His world a better place.
