(From January 2005) My wife Meillyn and I have lived in Orland Park since 1997.We moved to the south suburbs from Hyde Park when our son Patrick was born in 1969. Pat is our only child. He lives with his wife, Monica, and our tw0 grandchildren. Meillyn and I were married in 1964 and renewed our wedding vows at Transfiguration in 2004. I was a high school student at an Anglican boarding school in county Cork, Ireland when I first attend our Mass. Later, I chose The Church of The Holy Family in Park Forest as my church home. I joined our church in 2000. I have served on the vestry, most recently as Junior Warden, and been a member of the Parish life and Stewardship committees. I made a career in the insurance business serving in various sales and management capacities with the Allstate Insurance Co. for 35 years. I am an avid outdoorsmen, and enjoy fishing, birding, golf and hiking. Reading has always been a treasured activity, mostly non-fiction America History. We offer not only a rich 600 year old tradition of Christian innovation and liberal Protestantism, but also the promise of inclusion, diversity, and compassion so treasured by our congregation.
