(From January 2005) I have been a member of Transfiguration church for twenty-three years, and spouse to Robert Carr, a lifelong member of Transfiguration. I have two children, Haley (13) and Bridget (11). I was baptized, reared, and confirmed in Presbyterian churches, but wed at Transfiguration. Since joining Transfiguration, I have been the vice president of ECW for two of six years of membership, was on the day care board for a three year term, and was a Sunday school teacher for two years. I am currently a part of the Youth Ministry Committee, with a past of five years, and a lector/intercessor, with a past of two and a half years. I have been a registered nurse since 1980, working in the fields of pediatrics, critical care, and home health care. Currently, I am employed as a Case Manager: clinical care co-ordinator, and inpatient care advocate for United Health Care. I mostly enjoy spending time and caring for my family and pets, taking walks, cross country skiing, and bicycling. I also enjoy attending movies with family or friends. I have hopes for continued growth as a congregation, positive influence in our community, such as day care and bible camp, and extending our outreach programs throughout the world for those less fortunate.
