(From January 2009) My name is Sue Ann Beardsley and I have been attending Transfiguration since 1990. I was raised Roman Catholic but was received into the Episcopal Church on October 30, 1994. My husband Brooks and I have been married for 18 years and we live in Oak Forest with our two daughters, Britta (13) and Jenna (11). They are both Acolytes. For the last five years I have worked at the Oak Forest Park District as a preschool teacher for both 3 and 4 year olds. I was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years and prior to that I worked as a legal secretary. I enjoy my job because I like working with young children and it still allows me to be home with my children after school and on holiday/summer breaks. I currently serve on the Children and Youth Ministry Committee and have done so for the past several years. I have been a church school teacher, church school superintendent, confirmation mentor, assisted with vacation bible school and have previously served on the Day Care Board. I look forward to once again serving on the Day Care Board and hope that my contributions will be useful for the workings of this great ministry.
