(From January 2008) I grew up at Transfiguration, but left for awhile when I went to college. My finance and I came back in spring 2007 to get married at Transfiguration and have been members since. One of my family’s goals for the upcoming year is to get more involved at Transfiguration, which prompted me to run for this position. I believe that my past experiences would be an asset to the Day Care Board. I have served on several boards, mostly for fundraising or community service events. Part of my responsibilities on those boards included organizing events for children including game nights, haunted houses, and park activities. I am a CPA, so I would also bring my financial background to the board. In addition, I focus a good deal of time teaching classes at my firm. I would like the opportunity to share my skill set by serving on the Day Care Board.
