(From January 2006) My family and I came from St. Raphael's Church and became members of the Church of the Transfiguration in 1985. Since then, I have participated in many music functions as well as the church school program and childcare in this church. My family has moved to St. Andrew's Church, but I have decided to remain an active member of the Church of the Transfiguration. With my recently earned M.A. in Reading Instruction and ten years experience working in our day care facility, I believe I could be helpful on the Day Care Board. I have seen our day care program go through many great changes over the years. We need to take pride in the fact that we have this well accredited day care program and do what we can to keep it that way, and possibly make some improvements.
