(From January 2010) My name is Brooks Beardsley and I have been attending Transfiguration since 1980. I am a cradle Episcopalian. I live in Oak Forest with my wife, Sue Ann, and my two daughters, Britta (14) and Jenna (12). I am proud to say there are currently three generations of my family attending Transfiguration at this time. Both of my daughters serve as Acolytes. My wife, Sue Ann, has taught church school, was church school superintendent and currently serves on the Day Care Board and the Children and Youth Ministry Committee. My mother, Diana Beardsley, is currently on the Altar Guild and is again serving on the Vestry. I have been participating in all of the coaching sessions and would like an opportunity to serve on the Vestry to help implement some of the procedures that we have been taught in the coaching sessions and to help this congregation move forward in a positive direction.
